Motion City Soundtrack

What is a piece of art that changed your life and why:

Being in Les Miserables changed my life. The character work was a challenge but it also made me a better performer. That was the first time I cried on stage because the music and the lyrics moved me so much and because most of those I worked with meant so much to me. I still tear up to this day.

Interesting fact about yourself

I didn't start acting until 2011 and I had no idea that I could or that I was funny until then.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

There are many places I haven't been in the United States. I'd like to start there! New Orleans, Nashville, Memphis, New York, Boston, Maine, Colorado...the list goes on. I want to see the sites, eat the food and meet the people!

If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

Kristen Bell. She's crazy talented and absolutely hilarious! She is also a fantastic singer. She's generous and kind. I think she would be an absolute blast to hangout with!

If you could have any career, what would it be and why?

Pie in the sky? I would be the lead singer of a touring band but also an actress of comedy and drama movies and Broadway shows. I would never sleep but I'd be worth it!

You have an hour to yourself...what do you do with that time?

It really depends on what else I have going on in my life. Am I memorizing lines for an upcoming show? It’s that. Am I on the run constantly? I’m taking time for myself to just put my feet up. Is this the only time I have to eat something before I’ve got to jet? I’m whipping up dinner and TRYING not to eat carbs. If life is normal then I’m probably catching up on a show or working on a jigsaw puzzle cuz that’s how I roll ;)

Anything else you want to add?

I would not be here, doing this without my husband, Steven Walker. He gave me the confidence to go after acting and comedy. He helped me see what I am capable of. I keep myself going but he gave me the nudge to even step out into the spotlight. Thank you, Mr. Walker. Thank you for being my best friend and my biggest cheerleader.
