Favorite Sketch that Live has done:
This is a really hard question, since I have joined live I have been impressed with the amount of talent I am surrounded by. So I am going to use the cop out answer and say all of them. Each sketch has its own flavor of funny and I just am happy I can call myself a member!
What is your favorite band or music act?
I love Tool but I love anything that I can dance too! For me music is more then an audible experience its also visual. When I hear a song I can see in my mind how someone could move to it.
What is a piece of art that changed your life and why:
There are so many books that have changed my life but I would have to say it was actually dance that has really had a huge influence on me. My first memories are of dancing at weddings. With music and moving my feet I feel transformed. Its the one place where I don't care how the dance looks or if I am being judged, I care how it makes me feel. People say they want the the superpower of flight but what they don't realize is dance can give you that.
Favorite Comedy:
There is so much good comedy out there, but I really love super troopers. Its one of those movies I can watch over and over and never get tired of. My best friend from childhood and I would quote it all the time. Next favorite would have to be Shaun of the Dead because duh Zombies!
Biggest guilty pleasure?
I love medical TV Dramas, I can not get enough of them
Interesting fact about yourself
I can teach east coast swing dance and also how to Ceili (think Irish square dancing). Some day I will have my own social dance studio!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would go to Russia. Hear me out the architecture is gorgeous and I would love to see the Russian Ballet in person!
If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
I would want to have dinner with my great grandma Goldie. I was seven when she passed but she had such a huge impact on my life I would love to know more about her life.
If you could have any career, what would it be and why?
I am actually in my dream career right now. I am an Agriculture Extension Educator. I love that everyday is different and that I can help out my community and be able to see that impact
You have an hour to yourself...what do you do with that time?
It depends where I am at, if I am at home I read, draw, write, or paint. If I am outside I go for small hikes and walks. If I am exploring somewhere new I find the local museum and get lost in their history.
Anything else you want to add?
I am so happy that I am able to be a part of Live! from La Crosse and someday I will be running across the stage as a cast member. For now I will continue to enjoy being part of the crew and helping things run smooth! I have my fiance Joe "Stix" Davis for inviting me to be a part of this amazing group!
